Now, the AutoFormat feature is available on the “Quick Access Toolbar.” Click the “AutoFormat Dialog” button on the toolbar. Use the arrow buttons to the right of the list to move the “AutoFormat…” command to a different location on the “Quick Access Toolbar.”Ĭlick “OK” on the “Word Options” toolbar to close it. The “AutoFormat…” command is added to the list on the right side of the dialog box. For this example, we want to access the “AutoFormat” dialog box from the “Quick Access Toolbar.” You can also add the “AutoFormat Now” command if you know the settings are the way you like them and you just want to apply the automatic formatting immediately. NOTE: The “AutoFormat…” command is the one that brings up the “AutoFormat” dialog box so you can change settings before applying automatic formatting to your document.
